PICO Product/Test Electrical Engineering Job Description:
This is a microcircuit Test Electrical Engineering position in a dynamic organization where technical competence, teamwork and integrity are of paramount importance. You will provide technical leadership and support in the design, development, implementation and transfer of industry-leading microelectronic products and manufacturing test processes. You will work directly with Keysight R&D and Manufacturing organizations in the US and worldwide. You will support peer manufacturing engineers in the production of industry-leading Microwave Test and Measurement equipment. You will retain Engineering Responsibility for this portfolio of microcircuits across our product lines.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
*Participates actively in new product introduction, including influencing the design of the microcircuit to ensure manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain, enabling prototyping while in the R&D lab, testing the reliability of prototypes and managing the transition into production.
*As the R&D engineer you will be actively involved in new product introduction processes, including insuring manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain.
*You will proto-type, test the reliability, conformance to required specifications and manage the transition of new designs into production.
- Design, develop, implement and transfer mmWave products and manufacturing test processes into production.
- Create and document the test system block diagram, the test system and ETs (electronic tools) for mmWave production.
- Develop new test methodologies leveraging current and using latest techniques to reduce measurement uncertainty and increase thru-put.
- Insure DFx by working closely with R&D team during all phases of the project.
- Evaluate / set production line specs based on statistical data analysis. Correlate and get agreement with T&M partners.
- Document Test Support Documents (TSDs) for all created microcircuit tests and archive in Matrix1
- Complete User Specs. and archive in Matrix 1
*Retain Engineering Responsibility for microcircuit performance and reliability.
*Drive the DFx++ review for PCA only; deliver a summary of recommendations, owners and completion dates.
*BSEE with emphasis in RF/Microwave theory and applications strongly preferred
*5+ years relevant experience in RF/Microwave Test or product engineering for entry to this level.
*Strong knowledge of RF and Microwave theory and applications.
*Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuits and theory.
*Excellent written and verbal skills.
*Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and follow-thru
*A proactive team player who thrives on delivering solutions.
*Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in microelectronics manufacturing.
*Test Software programming skills
*Knowledge of remote instrument programming in C#, C++, .NET or VEE.
*Demonstrated track record of learning new concepts and theories.
* Ability to work in and/or lead diverse cross-functional teams
* A combination of technical knowledge of engineering theory and hands on approach
* Ability prioritize day to day activities balancing immediate needs with long term project goals
