Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Acquire understanding of the Craisins® process flow. Attain safety and quality knowledge pertaining to the Plant's expectations, SOP and SSOP; aiding assistance to Operators within the position. Develop basic competencies of the production equipment within a reasonable amount of time. Acquire knowledge and operation procedures, in regards to various elements of the Plant's sanitation system and foamers. Adhere to all Plant Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Regulations, and operating guidelines and rules. Display willingness and capability to learn sufficient operations of other plant equipment in order to provide relief of designated operations. Ability to assume responsibilities and work 12-hour shifts, and assist on other shifts as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal skills Ability to work constructively within a team environment as well as independently Physical and Environmental Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required of this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical/electrical parts and pressurized equipment, and extreme cold or heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and performs duties at high levels.
