JOB PURPOSE
Provides first-level supervision and coordination of employees in an operation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Reviews production orders and implements production schedules.
-Ensures that ISO 9001 quality system requirements are met in the area.
-Organizes and assigns work. Supervises and assists employees in daily work performance.
-Analyzes and diagnoses machine and tooling problems and takes corrective measures to minimize downtime and schedule interruption.
-Works with P&IC to maintain inventory accuracy in their area.
-Supports Lean activities.
-Assures a clean and safe working environment for all employees, maintaining 5S standards and emphasizing prevention of potential hazardous conditions. Addresses unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
-Conducts safety training for employees. Reports accidents in a timely manner and participates in accident investigations as required.
Required Skills:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's degree
-3-5 years experience- CNC machinining experience preferred
-Skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, JDE preferred
