Job Description

Packaging Production Support Operator:
* Receives and packages a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous finished parts, assemblies, subassemblies, and publications materials in accordance with prescribed specifications.
* Must check for rust, corrosion, FOD, or any external damage, etc.
* Obtains and matches all packaging materials, labels, part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities against computerized work sheets for warehousing and/or shipment, in accordance with prescribed specifications.
* Assemble Kits or correct numbers of individual parts, properly protected, and documented by serial numbers and part numbers.
* Stocks, prepares, and ships all parts and publication materials to the military and commercial destinations keeping all shipments within contractual restrictions and requirements of our procedures, carriers, and FAA and government agencies.
* Must be able to maintain all records through manual documentation and/or computer entries.
* Must be able to operate powered fork trucks and other material handling equipment.
* Uses basic hand tools as well as lift slings and hoist system to lift fixtures, tools, etc.
* Operates equipment such as band saws, slotters, electric stapler, drills, nail guns, heat sealers, sealed air equipment, counting scales, weighing scales, shrink wrap and skin pack machines, plus pneumatic nail guns, banders, vacuum devices and etc. skids pallets, gondolas, etc.
* Loads and unloads trucks, rail cars and cargo planes which require a careful operator to avoid damage to commercial vehicles as well as plant equipment.
* Performs simple maintenance on equipment such as, checking oil and water, batteries, etc. Rolls-Royce has a broad customer base comprising 600 airlines, 4,000 corporate and utility aircraft and helicopter operators, 160 armed forces, more than 2,000 marine customers including 70 navies, and energy customers in 120 countries. Basic:
* Dexterity of hands and fingers is required
* Should be literate, have basic knowledge of math, write legibly, and be able to use computer equipment
* Must be able to comprehend complex instructions, and pass inside power trucking test
* Must have good eyesight, dept perception and muscular coordination
* Must be able to do some heavy lifting
