Professional Services Consultant III

Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final project close-out through medium to long term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment for Cisco UC solutions. Performance is evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables. Project activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.Qualifications: 8 or more years of technical experience required, including at least 3 years in VoIP, IP Networks, and Video Networks. Subject matter expertise implementing and integrating Cisco: UCM, Unity, Unity Connections, Routers, Switches, Gateways, Firewalls. Deep experience developing QoS policies, dial plan designs. Must possess either CCIE-Voice certification (including passing lab exam) or CCNP/CCVP certification with minimum 3 years operational experience deploying and integrating Cisco solutions. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to: reade, analyze and interpret common scientific journals, document procedures that conform to Cisco and industry best practices, present information to management, public groups and customers.Additional Qualifications: Previous Professional Services delivery experience; Industry certifications such as MCSE, CCIE, CCNP, CCVP; experience deploying session boarder controllers such as Cisco CUBE, ACME Packet.
