Provides leadership and direction for the Quality Program including Nursing and Clinical support associates. Manages onboarding, ongoing Clinical competency assessments, preceptor arrangements, and performance improvement initiatives across SCLP. Responsible for coordination of nursing services, including the appropriate skill mix and delegation of roles and responsibilities for licensed and unlicensed clinical associates.

Essential Functions



















Develops, coordinates and directs educational and competency assessment programs that promote professional excellence and clinical competency for nursing, Medical assistants and other clinical support associates.












Ensures that curriculum, competency and care delivery are evidence based and meet regulatory requirements.












Collaborates with the clinic managers in the interview process for new applicants. Contributes to evaluations of nursing and clinical support associates.












Mentor/coach clinical staff to enhance their professional skills. Manage the clinical performance assessment of new hires. Provides ongoing feedback and coaching.












Serve as a liaison to schools of nursing, and allied health, partnering to create effective student experiences and recruitment opportunities.












Assists in the development and management of quality measurement and improvement strategies, methodologies, and resources for maximizing the use of data for decision making and improvement.












Provides leadership, organization and support for the purpose of improved communication, operation flow, and efficiency. Maintains proficiency in reporting and data analysis, the use of disease registries and population management.












Develops effective teams that work together, communicate effectively, with common measurable evidence based goals.

Minimum Required
Preferred (Optional)




Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum Associate of Science degree required
BSN preferred or equivalent experience
MSA, MBA or MHA preferred or equivalent experience

More than 1 year and less than 3 years
More than 3 years and less than 5 years

Three years staff nurse experience


Current licensure in the State of Colorado
BLS certification required
LEAN Process Improvement experience and training or certification preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to achieve results based on objectives and drive accountability throughout the organization
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
