JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Job Description:
Facilitate and monitor the daily operations and the delivery of services of the Early Childhood Program 0-5 by providing administrative support to all program content areas.
Support program supervisors/specialists with functions pertaining to personnel Time & Attendance; including securing coverage for employee absences at all sites in designated Service Area.
Provide training, support and supervision to assigned subordinates including the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of their duties and performance and performance management, inclusive of conducting disciplinary action meetings as needed and enforcement of policies & procedures.
Understand and implement program s School Readiness Plan, inclusive of activities to support the Parent, Family & Community Engagement goals and outcomes.
Record keeping and data entry in software systems used throughout the Early Childhood Program and Agency.
Order and receive all program supplies and maintain an up to date inventory.
Support with translation, drafting and editing of correspondence with families, partners and staff.
Perform a variety of administrative functions for the Early Childhood Program 0-5 and supporting overall program operations.
Collaborate with district personnel and Content Area Managers, Supervisors/Specialists on a regular basis to ensure successful program services.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding clients and coworkers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Must be fully met in order to qualify for position)
Bachelors in Business Administration or other related field and 1-2 years with direct administrative support experience in non-for profit settings.
Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner.
Experience working in a fast paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the agency.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Optional, used to determine best match in candidates)
Masters in Business Administration or related field, experience with Early Head Start/Head Start, Abbott Program and NAEYC Standards and supervisory experience with 2 years experience in an Early Childhood environment in roles of increasing responsibility.
