Job Description

Mathematica is a nationally recognized, nonpartisan firm that conducts social policy research on health care, welfare, education, labor, and related topics. We currently have an opening for a program analyst in our Washington, DC, office. We provide public sector consulting services, government program analysis and operational support, federal/procurement and contract administration support, IT project management, and data analysis. Duties of the Position:
· Assists in the project management oversight of third-party web-based data collection systems
· Develops, maintains, and updates requirements documentation for information technology (IT) systems
· Assists with data quality oversight, data management, and the development of functional requirements for IT system implementation
· Participates in requirements review and testing with IT subject matter experts, IT vendor personnel, end-users and Government personnel
· Assists senior staff on procurement, business and technical analysis assistance, qualitative and quantitative analyses, performance measurement and analysis and related support services
· Assists with vendor deliverable reviews and other technical documents
· Actively participates in meetings with stakeholders including technical and procurement staff, Government operations staff, project managers, and third party vendors
· Provides training and technical assistance to Government personnel and stakeholders
·Master's degree or relevant experience in government, public policy, the social sciences, or a related field
· Ability to write clear and concise technical memos and documentation
· Willingness to travel
· Outstanding academic record
· U.S. citizenship or permanent residence and ability to obtain minimum-security clearance
·Experience using SAS, SQL, MIS, and familiarity with government operations/systems, system quality control, or systems documentation is also desirable
