Job Description

Cherokee Nation Security and Defense division delivers innovative surveillance, investigative and safeguard services, as well as defense logistics and weapons systems services.

Program Data Analyst

General Description
Monitor and provide operational and division Management with financial modeling and analysis of cost data. Develop and maintain financial models capable of estimating program costs, program budget to actual cost & schedule performance and analysis of key milestones. Provide recommendations to Management regarding performance and schedule. Maintain/update monthly/quarterly division and government reporting.

Responsibilities
• Prime responsibility for coordination and development of departmental and division direct and indirect cost analysis for the purpose of monitoring performance against funding and project budgets.
• Prime responsibility for the development of financial direct cost data applications for ongoing review of program budget to actual, variance analysis and reporting to support program and operational management.
• Prime responsibility for identifying, researching, analyzing and reporting on major areas of cost/schedule performance concerns.
• Support Program Management with evaluation of cost data, budget/schedule baseline for a statement of work.
• Develop, analyze and reconcile both program and divisional level forecasts.
• Assists accounting and program personnel in project start-up and closeout analysis.
• Monitors labor distribution and coordinates with program and operational management.
• Prepares and reconciles all required government contract reports.
• Supports Executive Management with operational budget, financial projections, cost estimates for proposals.
• Monitors contract funding limitations and establishes communication with program management and contract management as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field or equivalent and a minimum seven (5) years of job related experience in a Business/Financial or Program Analyst field(s) preferred
Experience as Business/Financial Analyst in a government contract environment preferred
Superior written and oral communication skills required.
Direct customer support skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and it’s associated programs (MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
