As Program Director of Nursing Education, you'll have complete oversight of Nursing Professional Development Programs/Nursing Education.
- Lead a dynamic and exceptional nursing education team, nationally certified in their specialty and charged with a high morale. You'll partner closely with the Corporate Director of Nursing Education and Continuing Education to develop strategic planning and actively participate in the journey to achieve Magnet designation.
-Collaborate with the CNO and other clinical leaders to identify professional development needs, empowering nurses at every level to live the hospital mission of Putting Patients First.
-Manage daily operations, curriculum development, budget preparation, and regulatory compliance. Build on a best-in-class Nurse Residency Program, and collaborate with a dedicated Center for Professional Nursing Practice team.
-Contribute to a long list of techniques pioneered within our halls and spark ingenuity and achievement in the next generation of top nurses, giving patients the best chance at healthy, healing outcomes.

-Certification in nursing professional development
-Demonstrated success in strategic development of nursing education models
-Experience in incorporating technology into education and a true passion for teaching
-Leadership experience in an academic medical center

Required Criteria
-Master's degree in Nursing Education or health related field (MSN))
-Progressive leadership experience in nursing education, professional practice or professional development
-Current NYS RN licensure (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
