About the Team:
Avid is looking for a Chief of Staff/Program Manager

About the Job:

Duties and Responsibilities:


*

Align Technology spend controls with Finance Office and program manage financial forecasting
*

Resource planning and alignment with HR/Finance for driving efficiencies and optimization
*

Establish reporting structure for all pertinent Technology Group success metrics:

*

Establish and lead performance improvements with JIRA and Salesforce sourced macro metrics for Program Management and Executive audiences
*

Establish and lead JIRA sources micro metrics for PO and Delivery Manager audiences
*

Improve Code health and design by driving with Pertinent code base and quality metrics extracted from the SW development tool chain with Engineering and Shared Services
*

Other key technology metrics extracted from HW and IT teams and tools to improve Group performance, effectiveness and efficiency

*

Partner with Technology & PM leaders to implement Tech improvement initiatives
*

Insure alignment between Tech org metrics and commercialization success metrics
*

Identify strategic opportunities for material development and delivery efficiency
*

Drive tech program delivery optimization. Collaborate with PMO and Product Program Managers
*

Drive Agile maturity with metrics, however also strategic feedback loops with councils/champions with the group driving increased energy and engagement from the different groups
*

Lead Tech special projects
*

Help and lead Communication and group collaboration efforts and events by partnering with HR and Marketing groups

Requirements


*

Aspiration and hunger to grow in a leadership role and driving exponential value to business growth and sustenance
5 years hands-on experience in complex HW and SW product development
*

BS in Engineering or equivalent
*

An advocate & evangelist of agile and lean product development practices
*

Experience in Lean & Agile delivery model with Scrum/XP
*

Experience with common software measurements, including score carding, coverage, cohesion, complexity and maintainability index.
*

JIRA and JIRA Portfolio experience highly desired
*

Versed in SW development tools and best practices
*

Ability to summarize and assemble metrics in a form targeted for executive audiences and facilitate executive reviews/walkthroughs
*

Innate understanding of modern SW development practices and tooling
*

Familiarity with continuous delivery methodology
*

Familiarity with popular source control systems git, Accurev
*

Familiarity with code metrics reporting tools - SonarQube
*

A leader, collaborator and influencer by nature
*

A track record of being a change agent
*

Must be resident on site at one of our key development centers, EST highly desired
