JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Superior Group is partnering with our national manufacturing client to find a Program Manager Coordinator to join their team in Thomasville, GA. This is a great opportunity for a talented project manager to suport the program manager and be the liason between the customer and the program manager.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for work performed requiring initiative and high degree of judgment relating to the administrative and sales efforts of the Sales Department. Handles customer correspondence: telephones contacts regarding sales order deliveries, request for quotations and other sales-related items. The CSR is heavily involved with the project milestones for new programs and /or projects. Administrate and maintain contracts and terms. Responsible for processing sales orders, contract reviews and related data and acts as a central control point for information regarding current and closed sales orders.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Initiates and supports the negotiation process with our customers in regards to production schedules.
Monitor timely processing of all quotations and subsequent correspondence to customers regarding quotations, delivery information and other related inquiries.
Understand timely processing of customer sales orders to ensure all departments are notified of new or changed order activity.
Facilitates changes relative to our internal forecast and plans.
Works with AM, PM, GM, and/or Controller to generate appropriate cash flow.
Interface with Corporate and other TECT facility personnel to coordinate and provide plant support for the quotation, contract reviews, delivery requirements, and customer inquiry activity as required.
Coordinate internal quotation activity and other Sales projects between the Sales Department and other functions areas such as Engineering, Production Control, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality.
Maintain the active and inactive files and sales data via the sales order system.
Maintain effective customer communications to ensure all inquires are properly handled and customer satisfaction is attained.
Maintain forms and procedures to ensure compliance to corporate sales/order policies and adherence to ISO 9002 and AS 9000 procedures.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
4 year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field from an accredited college or university
A minimum of seven years experience in Sales, working directly with customers
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Ability to learn new computer applications related to electronic transfer of customer sales order and delivery schedule data.
Must be able to work both, independently and dependently in a sales team environment.
Proficient in the structuring and formatting of proposals for customer quotation activity.
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Extensive background in contract administration and sales, in a manufacturing environment
