JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Kilts Center for Marketing is the exclusive academic clearinghouse for Nielsen marketing data. The marketing data center initiative is critical to Booth's overall mission to facilitate thought leadership and elevate the recognition of Chicago Booth's excellence in quantitative marketing.
The Program Manager plays a crucial role to the continued success of the data center initiative and the Kilts Center overall. The manager is instrumental in securing subscription sales by interfacing with faculty and higher education administrators around the world. Supports data center customers, manages the day-to-day operations and promotes the data. This team member works collaboratively with multiple departments, building and maintaining relationships, to ensure timely customer service, execution of contracts, payment processing and data delivery.
The position involves independent problem-solving, facilitating solutions and a keen attention to detail. The manager interprets and enforces policies and guidelines; monitors and reconciles accounts; receives, processes, and tracks bills and expense reimbursements; researches, compiles and analyzes data to create reports, proposals and other documentation.
In addition to the key responsibilities around the data center, the program manager independently manages administration of the marketing lab project sponsorship program. This includes providing customer support necessary to facilitate contracts, invoicing and payment processing for a range of corporate project sponsors.
Additional duties include supporting the Kilts Center team in managing schedules, planning and executing myriad events and meetings. The manager may be assigned to special projects or functions related to the business of the organizational unit.
