GP Strategies has an immediate need for a Program Manager (People & Operations) to be part of a team that supports our client in Redmond, WA. This is a full-time, regular position with benefits.



Job Summary: This position is a strategic operations leadership role within our organization. This role manages the relationship between our client project needs and our internal staff capabilities, as well as manages staff augmented personnel for a large outsourced content development account. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

Resource Projects and Personnel

* Manage the demand between client project/service requests and resource availability

* Co-create and align a process and then manage resourcing communication across the team

* Collaborate with client account managers to determine appropriate mix of resource capacity and capability needs aligning to client demand

* Collaborate with capability/functional mangers to identify skill development opportunities and resource availability aligning to client demand

* Coordinate across multiple business locations depending on need and requirements

* Manage a scope of client portfolios (~$4-6 million in revenue with ~75 resources)

* Support resource demand/alignment amongst portfolio projects and collaborate with other Resource Manager to manage resource overflow

* Co-manage account and project profitability

* Conduct lessons learned and project/resource debriefs; support continuous improvement efforts

* Manage staff assignments striving for optimal capabilities alignment, high resource utilization, and project profitability

* Lead/attend various weekly project and resource reviews; align resource plans and commitments as projects develop and take a proactive approach to staff projects quickly

* Manage relationship with third party vendor to help support increased client demands

* Maintain internal resource management tools and systems

* Assist in identifying hiring needs and participate in interviews and talent selection process

Manage Staff Augmentation Positions for Client Portfolio

* Oversee approx. 20 highly independent dedicated role/staff augmentation positions within a single client portfolio

* Support recurring 1:1s and daily ad hoc needs; connect employees as needed to account team managers (client-specific) and capability/functional managers (role-specific) for support

* Collect and compile account team managers and client feedback; provide real-time coaching to employees as needed

* Complete annual performance management process for staff augmentation employees

Create Statement of work (SOWs) and Maintain Project Reporting for Staff Augmentation Positions

* Collaborate with Resource Coordinators to manage/monitor required financial documentation:

* Create SOWs for staff augmentation services using existing templates and boilerplate content

* Get account codes from finance and assign them to appropriate SOWs or employees

* Analyze and monitor project financials (status of purchase orders, work orders, project status, etc.) to ensure alignment with contractual requirements

* Follow up on missing/delayed items

* Create change orders as needed; manage through finance processes

* Assist with monitoring utilization data; validate hours logged; escalate situations requiring reversals/charge codes; track through completion with the appropriate individual or manager

Onboard Resources to Client Account

* Coordinate computers/other equipment and imaging process (with IT)

* Coordinate required background screens (via HR) and track credentials (client system)

* Complete required HR paperwork (I-9 verifications)

* Orient new hires to relevant onboarding content (account, capability) and partner with account director and managers accordingly to onboard new hires; demonstrate timesheets and expense reports

Required Qualifications:

* Candidate must have a bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience

* 8-10 years experience related customer service, resource, and team management

* Experience collaborating with a large team and communicating to multiple levels

* Experience in client relations and management

* Project management experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
