span Program Manager, Auburn Hills, MI br   br Our client, an established and growth-oriented, global manufacturer of high-quality electronic components for diverse industries is looking for an experienced Program Manager for their Auburn Hills, MI, location, to support their automotive OEM customers.  The Program Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams internally and externally to develop a product and process to meet/exceed all customer requirements. br   br POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: br ul
li Lead all engineering team activities from concept through launch. /li li Serve as the main contact for all internal and external communications. /li li Understand and demonstrate company values and expected behaviors.  Lead by example and monitor employees to ensure they are completing their tasks to meet customer expectations. /li li Take quick action to analyze and resolve department issues & risks and create tentative and permanent countermeasures to prevent the same issues from reoccurring. /li li Propose significant improvements within his/her function to improve the efficiency of the department in support of upper management mission and values. /li li Provide input on individual reviews for all engineers within the specific team. /li li Initiate all PCR's (Product Change Requests) internally to design centers and monitor to ensure they are being completed in a timely manner. /li li Process all customer engineering changes. /li li Lead all customer Product Development Team meetings. /li li Lead all internal program planning and management with design centers. /li li Coordinate all customer activity between internal engineering groups. /li /ul
li Bachelor's Degree (preferably Electrical Engineering) /li li Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred) /li li 5+ years Program / Project Management experience /li li Experience working with OEM customers /li li Electrical Engineering experience in the automotive industry (preferred) /li li Demonstrated ability to manage a project from inception to completion /li li Strong & effective communication and presentation skills required. /li li Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint & Excel /li li Required domestic and international travel (25%) /li /ul
