Hiring either a Program Manager or a Junior Program Manager in Corporate Pharmacy, both descriptions and job requirements are outlined below. nnFor Junior Program Manager:nManage small programs or a phase of a larger program. Provide full program management including needs analysis, program maintenance, administration and monitoring, data analysis and program evaluation, and vendor/contract administration if applicable. May also make recommendations for changes or modifications for assigned program and implement as needed.nnFor Program Manager: nManage, develop, and implement moderately complex programs. Provide program management including needs analysis, content development, data analysis, vendor management and contract management

For Junior Program Manager

* Manage/administer smaller programs or a phase of a larger program to ensure that prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with program objectives.

* Assess needs and coordinate resources to enhance existing programs.

* Monitor the progress of program components to ensure the overall goals, schedules, and benefits of the program will be met.

* Document and present program results through operational reports, outcomes studies, presentations and publications. Prepare program reports for superiors.

* Recommend and/or implement program and process changes as needed to achieve program goals and objectives.

* May have budget responsibilities to control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations, together with the conformance to timing, limits and usage of funding as agreed upon in the spending plan for the assigned program.

* May handle vendor management and administer program contracts to ensure vendors meet service level agreements if applicable.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor s degree and 3 years of experience in program/project coordination or administration

* In lieu of degree, 5 years of experience as stated above.

HIRING PREFERENCES

* Time management skills to keep goals and objectives of program on schedule.

* Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively various stakeholders, team members, sponsors, managing directors, customers, vendors, providers.

* Organizational and management skills to effectively manage the resources of the program (financial, vendors, processes, projects).

* Knowledge in the area of program(s) managed.

* Experience with Financial reporting

* Experience with Analyzing large sets of data

For Program Manager

* Manage, develop, and implement moderately complex programs in accordance with guidelines. Work with program/project team members to ensure deadlines are met.

* Identify, analyze and understand target audiences and their specific program needs.

Develop specialized programs.

* Direct and coordinate activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of programs.

* Establish and monitor performance metrics and goals for assigned programs, including process measures, outcomes measures, financial measures and methodologies for implementing programs. Document and present program results through operational reports, outcomes studies, presentations and publications.

* Analyze policies and procedures to improve programs efficiency and effectiveness.

* Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modify or change methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives.

* Own and make needed decisions to ensure the successful resolution of all issues, problems and changes within the program that do not alter or defer significantly from the agreed upon milestones and major deliverables.

* Develop and manage budgets for assigned programs.

* Ensure that programs meet appropriate regulatory and accreditation standards.

* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate, administer and monitor program contracts.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor s degree.

* 5 years experience in program or project management in the area of program specialization.

* In lieu of Bachelor s degree, a minimum of 7 years of experience in program or project management in the area of program specialization required.
