Receiving direction from the Tumor Imaging Metrics Core (TIMC) and Precision Imaging Metrics (PIM) Program Managers, the incumbent will serve as a liaison between study staff teams, TIMC and PIM, to excel communication and knowledge transfer between each group and to promote the missions of TIMC and PIM. The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical, operational, and educational support to radiologists, research fellows, oncologists, clinical research coordinators, and research nurses, totaling to over 1,000 end users both within the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and at outside Cancer Centers. The incumbent will also be responsible for authoring, editing, and implementing standard operating procedures and supporting documentation to ensure that TIMC/PIM follows GxP and other applicable compliance guidelines.



Create/update documentation needed to attain/maintain regulatory compliance

Provide Tier 1 technical support for TIMC

o Analyze, troubleshoot, triage, and when necessary, escalate all issues

o Document all service requests according to Incident Management SOPs

o Ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manager

o Summarize and report findings to management team

Develop standards, guidelines, procedures and methodology for service support

Act as liaison between study staff teams, TIMC, PIM, and management

* Communicate customer feedback to technical and operational teams in order to develop processes for better serving customers

* Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, and other hospital personnel, to facilitate day-to-day operations as well as further the educational and technological missions of TIMC/PIM

Track and monitor progress of issues through interpretation of policies, standard practices, procedures and collective agreements to identify interventions and resolutions

Coordinate with study staff teams to gather, organize and compile information on product requirements and processes

* Review clinical trial protocols to determine imaging assessment details and thresholds to appropriately configure oncology trials within the TIMC/PIM system

* Understand and follow IRB, HIPAA, and 21CRFPart11 guidelines

* Represent TIMC in study start-up meetings across DF/HCC institutions

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Coordinate and/or provide the initial orientation and training to system users as required by any system implementation or change

Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Track and provide metrics on personnel utilization

* Devise methods and procedures for obtaining customer feedback about TIMC services and PIM products

Responsible for creating and maintaining training documentation such as user guides, user tutorials, frequently asked questions, and quick reference sheets

Organize and write supporting documents for TIMC

Maintain records of all correspondence and organize various team meetings

Effectively communicate process changes to study teams and other stakeholders

* Demonstrate Customer Service philosophy when interacting with employees and business partners

* Attend tradeshows and conferences relevant to the position (e.g. RSNA, SIIM) as deemed necessary



Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Basic knowledge in generating process documentation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to distill complex information into clear, concise text

Must be able to work independently, delivering accurate documentation under deadline pressure

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non- technical audience

Ability to research, organize, analyze and synthesize data to support effective decision making

Ability to proactively identify gaps and participate in solutions

Demonstrated proficiency with MS office applications required.

Working knowledge of computer networks, information systems and databases from a user standpoint

Working knowledge of image and data transfer protocols, e.g. DICOM messaging and FTP

Experience with medical imaging applications (2D or 3D, CT, MR, PET)

Familiarity with digital image formats (e.g. DICOM, JPEG)

Knowledge of clinical trials protocols and workflow

Knowledge of clinical trials image analysis workflow
