JOB DUTIES:

Under the direction of the PI and Project Manager, the Programmer/Analyst II will serve as a data analyst providing quantitative data support for large, complex transplant research and clinical trial projects. Primary responsibilities will include conducting data analysis, cleaning and coding datasets, interpreting data for Principal Investigators, and assisting in writing reports and publications. Must be able to use RedCap in order to construct and maintain RedCap research database and generate reports and queries to support clinical trial.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Programmer Analyst II is to have at least two years of experience working with large scale data sets and is knowledgeable of qualitative and quantitative research methodology, and is skilled in RedCap and experienced in clinical trials data management. Incumbent has strong data analysis skills and knows which analysis to run based on the research question. Incumbent must be highly organized and detail oriented; is experienced with data management, including managing multiple years of data collection and creating data dictionaries; and is able to work independently (with an appropriate level of instruction) and as part of a team. PAII is experienced with data management, including managing multiple years of data collection and creating data dictionaries. PAII also has experience with writing/editing reports summarizing research findings, writing journal articles, and preparing and presenting graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and papers to various audiences. STATA or SPSS experience and Master's degree in Public Health or Statistics is highly preferred.
