JOB DUTIES:

The successful candidate will join the UCLA Software Engineering team developing a variety of desktop and/or web applications for use in Medical Imaging Services and Clinical Trials. We seek a software engineer with experience in Database technologies, GUI development, Web Frameworks and Cloud Computing. The candidate will be working closely with Algorithm Engineers to deploy cutting-edge computer vision algorithms into our product pipeline. Integration of image analysis prototypes into a processing pipeline. Development of task based UX/UI applications for managing custom workflows. Migrate processing services into a cloud computing environment. Development in a team environment with source code management. Participate in code reviews and testing activities during software validation. Acceptance testing and documentation of computer systems according to an SDLC.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree (BS or MS) in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent. 4+ years of experience in one of the following programming languages Python/PHP/C++/C#. 2+ years of experience developing web apps using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with cloud services and APIs is a plus. Experience with NoSQL DB is a plus. Experience with DICOM/PACS/HIS/HL7 is a plus.
