JOB DUTIES:

Under the supervision of Drs. Low, Kupelian, Ruan and Clinical Trials Manager, the Programmer/Analyst is responsible to parse, streamline, code, debug, test, document, and implement a hybrid data management system for radiation oncology. The individual is also expected to develop handshake protocols between the said system and other existing data sources (Aria, etc). The programmer is to develop web applications and database operation modules and support interfacing with research oriented programming language (Matlab, R). Additional duties include system backup, maintenance of the existing departmental website and UNIX/Linux support.





JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Working knowledge of Java, C/C++/C#. HTML, PHP, Python, and SQL, required.

Knowledge of Matlab or R environment, required.

Knowledge of a modern MVC web framework, required.

Demonstrated knowledge of mathematics and science, required.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, required.

Skill in task and time management, required.

General knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux environment, required.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to work as part of a team, required.

BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, preferred.

3+ years programming experience, preferred.
