Recruit Veterans is currently seeking a Programmer/Developer 2 for our client in Austin, TX. Position DutiesAssist Applications Management (AM) staff. Remediate applications identified by security monitoring.Design, develop, test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.Interface with other development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.Provide after-hours support.Other duties as assigned. Experience Required5 years experience in IT and the application development life cycle.5 years experience in Unix programming development.5 years experience in WebSphere development.5 years experience in Java and JSF programming development.5 years experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development.5 years experience in Hybernate programming development.5 years experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios.5 years experience with GUI (Desktop and Web).5 years experience Web services programming experience.5 years experience validating business requirements and design specifications with users.4 years experience System design experience (Batch and Online).4 years experience in developing rigorous test case scenarios using UML or similar technology.4 years experience with customer service.4 years experience providing after-hours support.4 years experience developing rigorous Unit Test scripts4 years experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools3 years experience developing application systems that are Section 508 compliant3 years experience in Informatica development3 years experience in Perl programming development Preferred Experience3 years experience working in a State/Federal government environment.1 years experience with DADS programs a plus.
