To coordinate the Community Advocacy Primary Care (CAP) Expanded Pediatric Resident Training (EXPERT) outpatient rotation, a program based on the principles of equalizing the social inequities in healthcare and creating a more educated pediatric workforce. The Project Coordinator will have responsibility for creating and maintaining the daily, monthly and annual schedules of the pediatric residents with community organizations and sub-specialists within UCBCHO as well as curriculum development, implementation and evaluation done in conjunction with the medical directors.
The Project Coordinator will be the face of UCBCHO, responsible for the maintaining relationships with the affiliate programs to ensure quality education for the pediatric trainee.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Public health or related field required. Advanced degree or equivalent experience, ideally in public health, and experience in health education and community outreach, preferably targeting diverse and underserved communities.
Experience: Training in project coordination or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of direct work experience in project coordination capacity. Experience and interest in child health promotion and advocacy preffered. Dedication to community engagement required. Experience with adult education preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent organizational skills, Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project coordination, Knowledge of project coordination techniques and tools, Proficient in project coordination and website editing. MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point. Prior experience maintaining a website preferred.
