Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an organized Project Coordinator - Information Operations in Glendale. This is for a long-term/temporary opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. This is a critical and visible role within the company requiring a high level of organizational skills, diplomacy and interaction with other departments, franchise operators and Executives. The Project Coordinator provides project and administrative support to the CIO in a variety of capacities. This position will achieve its objectives through independent, sound judgment, discretion, initiative and collaborative, professional relationships within all levels of the organization. Responsibilities:
Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to follow up and verify that projects are completed at the required timeline, as well as complete assignments with limited supervision within tight time frames.

Must be able to work on a variety of situations of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of data and/or situations requires evaluation of multiple factors.

Utilizes initiative, sound judgment, tact and diplomacy with sensitive, complex, and highly confidential business matters.

Prepares presentations and reports from drafts to final presentations, reports include complex Excel spreadsheets.

Manages the CIO's calendar and schedules meetings on the CIO's behalf. Ensures that the CIO is aware of the daily schedule and schedule changes.

Arranges complex and detailed travel plans. Prepares travel itineraries and compiles all documents and information needed for travel and appointments.

Organizes, prioritizes, prepares and appropriately handles all correspondence from the office of the CIO and ensures that action or attention required is addressed.

Interacts daily with employees, Executives, outside vendors and Franchisees on numerous Company matters.

Processes invoices and prepares and submits expenses for payment or reimbursements.

Must handle all matters with impeccable discretion and professionalism.

Completes other assignments as directed by the CIO.


Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in an Project Coordinator position, providing direct assistance to an executive team, IT experience preferred.
Requires a detail oriented professional capable of handling sensitive and confidential matters with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to compose correspondence in appropriate business language and with use of correct grammar.

Must be able to work on a variety of situations of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of data and/or situations requires evaluation of multiple factors.
Ability to operate within established departments and company practices to execute appropriate action.
Must be proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must also be proficient with use of the internet including use of business support sites i.e., Orbitz for Business.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
