Position Title Project Engineer - Electro-Mechanical Products - IL #3328
Location Western Illinois (Location is Sterling, IL but we should not post there)
Manufacturer is searching for a Project Engineer to expand the Engineering group.
The Project Engineer develops new products from concept to production.
Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the technical design and project leadership functions on product development teams
Develop appropriate project costs, performance requirements and schedule. Focus activities to meet these goals
Direct engineering experiments
Create 3D solid models
The ideal person for this position has the following minimal requirements:
Bachelor of Science in an appropriate engineering discipline (BSME preferred)
Experience designing injection molded parts
Proficiency in 3D solid modeling (NX preferred)
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) in a cross-functional team environment
Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment
Creative problem solving ability
High mechanical aptitude
Experience leading successful cross-functional new product development teams
Five years' experience developing high volume electro-mechanical products from concept through production.
BOTTOM LINE REQUIREMENTS WE NEED NOTES ON WITH CANDIDATE SUBMITTAL:
1. BACHELOR DEGREE REQUIRED. BSME PREFERRED.
2. EXPERIENCE DESIGNING INJECTION MOLDED PARTS.
3. PROFICIENCY IN 3D SOLID MODELING (NX PREFERRED).
4. 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING HIGH VOLUME ELECTRO-MECHANICAL PRODUCTS FROM CONCEPT THROUGH PRODUCTION.
