Dewberry's Denver office is currently looking for a Project Engineer for our Water Service Line with experience in planning, design and construction oversight of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with an interest to focus on treatment facilities design. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:","Working with the Denver office leadership, project management and professional staff to execute:

Work in a project engineer role on municipal water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects, executing planning, design, and construction assignments.
Work in team environment to execute work with other project engineers, technical support, junior staff, and sub consultants to implement fully functioning project designs.
Direct and manage teams of engineers and/or technicians on projects.
Work independently to analyze treatment process systems including technical evaluations of alternatives.
Preparing bid documents (drawings and specifications), reports, calculations and project deliverables and reviewing the design of others.
Work in team environment to leverage assets of the Water Service Line to position, win, execute and deliver work.
Work for the successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction (schedule, financial, and quality)
Act in a lead role for projects, leveraging one's expertise, experience and capabilities.
Assist with the develop of statement of qualifications, detailed proposals and contracts to include project understanding, scope of work, pricing, schedule, and other terms and conditions; and follow through with development/implementation of a project execution plan.
Increase Dewberry's visibility in the public sector water business through active participation in national, state and local professional and community organizations.



Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, Master's Degree in Engineering a plus.
Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) License required or ability to obtain.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the design and construction oversight of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.
Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget and correctly.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, with reputation for being highly responsive and delivering quality work.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Proven experience with project planning, design, and construction phase services.
