Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the Project Lead may include: * Onsite supervising and coordinating of high pressure well recompletions, remedials, facility construction, pipeline construction, location & road construction, compressor installation and pipeline repair in an assigned geographical area.* Being a safety leader.* Directing all assigned Well Operations, Construction and Maintenance activities to ensure that work is performed in compliance with ConocoPhillips' safety policies/procedures as well as all applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.* Coordinating with Engineering and Operations to achieve established objectives and to minimize interruptions to operations.* Reviewing invoices and verifying billing, expenditures and cost-control on assigned projects.* Training and/or auditing contract personnel on policies and procedures.Basic/Required:* Legally authorized to work in the United States.* High school diploma/GED* Five years of direct oil and gas operations experience. Preferred:* Three years direct maintenance experience.* Extensive working knowledge of field operations, construction operations, downhole completion. equipment & techniques and workover & recompletion operations on high pressure gas wells.* Understanding of well control theories and techniques.* Ability to handle multiple projects.* Strong leadership, mentoring, team-building, and people development skills.In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of February 14, 2012.Candidates for regular U.S. positions must be a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee or temporary resident under 8 U.S.C. 1160(a) or 1255(a)(1).
