We are currently seeking an experienced Project Management Director who has the ability to organize approaches, functions, and activities across numerous diverse entities. This position requires extensive program and project management expertise to ensure that business projects within the portfolio are planned, organized, controlled, cost effective, and delivered on time. This position will have a high level of interaction with Senior Management to ensure that corporate goals and project-specific development strategies are clearly integrated into cross-functional operational plans.

The Project Management Director is responsible for the program / project portfolio lifecycle, starting with initiation, approval/prioritization through execution and ending with delivery and benefit realization. He/She will lead and facilitate portfolio review board and steering committee meetings while developing and enforcing compliance of the banks Project management office policies and procedures.

A successful candidate will possess outstanding organizational and project management abilities, excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as analytical skills and comfort with data-driven approaches. Minimum 10 or more years years of experience in a banking or financial setting, including five or more years of supervision / training, extensive banking industry knowledge and formal project management is required. Bachelors degree required, an advanced degree and/or PMI certification is preferred.
