The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the PMO's current and future projects. More specific responsibilities will include developing, tracking, executing and reporting on active projects through the management/development of the PMO PM tools, processes, metrics and dashboards. This role will work closely with and take guidance from Director of the PMO and individual project managers who will help develop the Associate PM's project management skills and assess the PM's professional growth.
Responsible for the management and administration of the collaboration and project management tools utilized by the Project Management Office. Prepares materials and trains project team members in the use of project management and collaboration tools.
Creates, tracks, and reports on team tasks, project status, dashboards, and metrics. This includes producing Senior Management and Board Level Reporting.
Provides input for enhancing corporate PMO project management processes relating to the use of project management and collaboration tools. Assists the Director of PMO with the creation and roll out of standardized project management processes and best practices for the corporation.
Manages PMO Process Improvement projects. Works with internal PMO as well as external teams, to define, plan, and execute PMO Process Improvement projects.
Manages small projects that span organizations, geographies and technologies. Works with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization including IT and business units.
