POSITION

As PMO Team Leader, the focus of this North America role is to provide 1) lead a team of project managers, 2) manage the PMO process of accepting and rejecting projects that are presented to come into the PMO portfolio, and 3) Oversee all projects within the portfolio and assure all deadlines and budget requirements are met.



Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Quality and Continuous Improvement in NAM HR Shared Services, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

* Working with a large network of individuals ranging from HR Business Partners to SVPs throughout the organization.

* Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.

* Assisting in change management activities due to project objectives.

* Manage the PMO team to achieve objectives of each project.

* Assist in the design, development, and implementation new systems and tools for North America.

* Coordinates and communicates with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRBPs, HR Data Analytics, IPO and Finance Shared Services and global teams to ensure the optimal execution of assigned programs.

* Measures and reports on milestones and customer satisfaction of assigned programs and initiatives.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Must be able to create executable processes while considering regional customer requirements.

* Strong knowledge within Schneider Electric, with a current network of regional contacts is desirable.

* Has track record and an appetite for managing projects to completion. Can provide examples of having led projects.

* Experience with managing people and teams, as well as presenting to all levels within the organization is required. Prior experience with process improvement and leading change is preferred.

* Uses a variety of techniques to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders across a range of issues. Able to establish personal credibility at all levels.

* Adept at operating in a dynamic and fast changing environment. Outstanding prioritization skills to address and resolve emerging issues and priorities.

* Understands the company strategy and company vision and scans the environment to make recommendations to address future program improvements.

* Any Project Management Certifications is preferred, but not required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

* Much of the work associated with this role is performed in a corporate office and over the telephone. However, occasional international travel of over 1 week in duration is required and occasional overtime and travel is required.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Ability to work without close supervision and to set ones own priorities and work schedule.

* Ability to lead through influence.

* Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment.

* Ability to communicate to all levels within the company.

* Ability to manage a team, as well as individual Project Managers

* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time to be able to assist team members when assistance is required.
