Ultra Electronics, ProLogic offers a breadth of information technology (IT) solutions to government agencies, including the US Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, NASA, and more.


ProLogic, Inc is currently searching for a Project Manager / Facility Security Officer to work in our Dayton, OH location.

You will be responsible for supporting the Division Manager (DM) with execution and reporting for multiple programs primarily in the software engineering domain supporting DoD and intelligence community customers. Significant additional responsibilities include managing the Dayton office security, office, and infrastructure requirements.


Project Management duties:

Assist with the management of one or more contracts / projects
Develop project management plans
Development and monitoring of program budgets, schedules and performance
Key interface to customers for project execution to include primary responsibility for status reporting and CDRL delivery
Review and approve project invoices
Ability to develop and brief presentations to customer audiences
Provide support for business development activities including opportunity evaluation, technical proposal development, and customer interface

Facility Security Officer (FSO) and general administration duties:

Overall responsibilities to manage facilities/infrastructure and health & safety for the office
Provide guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security to ensure compliance with the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Advises Director of Corporate Security and Program Management on the interpretation of security policies and on developing plans and procedures to meet customer security requirements
Coordinates and administers security clearances
Responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency
Monitor and Maintain Office Supplies Inventory;
Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials and employee property

Required Qualifications:

Must be a US citizen and currently hold or be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
BA/BS in engineering, science, or business with a minimum of 2 years project management experience
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when faced with competing priorities
Must be able to demonstrate high degree of accuracy and attentiveness to detail with little rework
Must have excellent customer service skills, particularly in the area of customer relations, communications and responsiveness
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex technical documents
Travel (up to approx 20% of time) to customer locations other ProLogic sites/offices is required
Other duties as required

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, procurements, and contracting
Experience with DoD and intelligence community systems in Geospatial (GEOINT) and net-centric data strategy domain areas
Familiarity with systems and software engineering processes and development life cycles
PMP certification
Familiarity and experience with security regulations such as National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) , DOD security regulations, and Executive Orders
Experience with JPAS
Familiarity with export processes and International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR) and related compliance issues
