JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY We are seeking a Software Project Manager with experience in gaming software development who is detail oriented and a proactive problem solver for our Real-Time Factory Simulator development team.
Real-Time Factory Simulator is a novel way for engineers to emulate and simulate their robotic manufacturing line designs in dynamic 3-dimensional environments - controlling automated manufacturing robots via remote controls and wandering factory floors wearing first person view goggles to see from the operators' and managers' point of view while the program injects environmental effects, disorientation, random and damaged states, etc.
The Real-Time Factory Simulator functions like a video game allowing designers, trainees, customers, etc. to operate, test, debug, hypothesize, etc. novel industrial automation ideas and designs in a close-to-live simulation.
*** Manage development of the Real-Time Factory Simulator
*** *** Develop a detailed project plan and track and report progress.
*** Coordinate internal resources and third party contributors.
*** Ensure that features are delivered on-time, focused to scope and within budget.
*** Administer resources.
*** Manage communications with beta testers and users and integrate relevant ideas.
*** 3+ years experience in software project management in video game or simulator software development.
*** Track record applying Agile methodology.
*** Hands-on skill with 3D Unity Engine or similar and C# and Java programming.
*** Collaborative environment where engaged employees share their knowledge and suggestions.
*** Team is entrusted to use their own discretion and common sense.
