JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Reengineering Specialist will assist the HRSS operation with Process Re-engineering and HR Transformation initiatives, focusing on improving cost, timeliness, quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires participation in an active reengineering team providing support and expertise to key stakeholders, service center managers, team leads and subject matter experts in operations and service delivery. Will be expected to identify process and system improvement opportunities as well as lead and drive regional reengineering projects.
*Develop strong Business case for re-engineering projects including cost/benefit analysis
*Perform data collection, interpretation and analysis for opportunity identification
*Identify requirements against both system & process improvement opportunities
*Identifies activities that could be streamlined or eliminated
*Lead and drive testing of process & system enhancements, provide objective track record of the results
*Support and participate in design and execution of process & system improvements and enhancements
*Support migrations from HR to operations and identify opportunities for process & system enhancements before activities transitioned to operations
*Identifies when tasks/projects are not on track and takes appropriate action
*Ensure completion of project deliverables within specific timeframes
*Assure successful project completion through utilization of appropriate project management techniques
*Ensures performance standards are geared to business needs
*Displays commitment to getting results
*Actively seeks, uses and shares input/ideas of others
*Advertise Bright Idea program, support idea generators to be able to turn ideas into real life
*Develop an expert level understanding over given end-to-end process including relevant systems
*Learn and use IBM Blueworks as a basis for end-to-end process documentation and VSM analysis
*Continuously educate and coach people who are part of reengineering projects on Lean principles and process improvement tools and techniques
*Support culture change toward one of continuous improvement
Proficient user of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
Ability to operate in a team environment, working efficiently in a multi-office/time zone environment, and negotiating effectively with those in other functional/technical areas and countries.
Expert analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
HS/GED Required. Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
Minimum one year experience in the design and implementation of automation systems/tools to support process improvement and reengineering
Minimum one year of project management experience, with a proven track record in implementing projects and achieving project deliverables within specified timeframes is essential
Prior experience and knowledge of the HR/Payroll Shared Services operations (on-boarding, off-boarding, employee lifecycle and data management) will be a strong advantage
