We are currently seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our Southwest region of Hawaii within our Project Development Services Division. We are looking for individuals with experience in the following areas:
Project types will typically include renovations, tenant improvement, ground up build outs, and varying scale projects. We are looking for a solid background in at least one of the following areas: Project Management, Architecture, Construction, Cost Estimating or Engineering. Tenant Improvement Project Management experience, in addition to, hospitality experience will also be considered. Most project work will be within the Southwest region of Hawaii and some travel may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:
Client Interface and Project Team Relationship Management
Running Meetings, Setting the Agenda, Issuing Minutes of the Meeting
RFP Generation, Interviewing, Analysis and Recommendations of Project Team Assembly Including:
Architect / Interior Designer / Procurement Agent
Bidding General Contractor Services and Hard Bid Analysis
Oversight of FF & E and third party Procurement Process
Assist Owner with Contract Negotiations
Analyze and negotiate change orders
Planning and Organizing
Establish course of action to accomplish goals, evaluates results, develops schedules, and can orchestrate multiple activities at once by effectively utilizing resources.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of external and internal clients, acts with client in mind, establishes and maintains effective relationships, and gains their trust and respect.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Acrobat).
Must have five to eight years of experience and a book of business.
Experience with Budget and Milestone / Schedule Development, Management and Tracking.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Respected for professional and savvy business sense.
Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and pro-actively anticipate their needs.
