JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ben Venue Laboratories (BVL) is currently seeking a talented & innovative Project Manager II to join our Project Management Organization (PMO) department located at our Bedford, OH site. As a Project Manager II, you will provide project management, business analysis, business process mapping, & technical design expertise required to effectively lead & manage functional, cross-functional, multi-site, international &/or multi-company projects. Each project must be aligned with the BVL Site Strategy & also be aligned with the functional goals & objectives. This position will link in to the site-wide Project Management Office (PMO), BVL site strategy, & adhere to site-wide project management methodology & system st&ards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead project teams through Project Life Cycle to ensure quality implementation according to clearly detailed expectations & customer requirements by utilizing site-wide project management methodology
- Identify & effectively utilize necessary resources & skill sets required to advance successful & sustainable project completion
- Actively communicate & manage relationships with functional & cross-functional team members to promote underst&ing, ownership, & support of the project while also maintaining positive relationships with all relevant parties (impacted employees, customers, sponsors, stakeholders, etc.) by keeping them up to date on project details
- Develop & use metrics to measure progress & efficiency of team & meet project goals, timelines & deliverables
- Provide input to MAX Planning activities for all team members while providing specific situation / behavior / impact feedback & recognition to all team members as appropriate
- Is an active Champion of Change looking to promote a winning vision of Ben Venue that is consistent with the site strategy by identifying the best approach for implementing strategic projects / process improvement that are sensitive to the diverse needs of the corporation, the site, our customers, & our employees
- Lead a cohort of project managers in a strategic focus area to ensure deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence & process skills to link & manage complex multi-project inter-dependencies across internal/external customers & stakeholders & drive maximum overall value through the most efficient application of resources
