The IT Project Manager works under limited supervision to plan and direct multiple complex initiatives that impact multiple departments and systems. Provides work direction and leadership to project team members and is responsible for the quality delivery of all phases of the project life cycle. The IT Project Manager is actively involved in the creation and execution of the project plan, ensuring successful development and implementation.
This is a bonus eligible position.
Managing multiple concurrent IT projects in different business areas with varying technologies
Utilizing the structured methodology in developing and managing detailed project work plans in order to keep projects on schedule and under budget
Maximizing the utilization of resources in a matrixed environment while sharing resources with other project managers
Managing the project budget, schedule, scope, quality, and risk to achieve business objective
Analyzing project performance to implement corrective actions when necessary
Actively managing project work plan and resolving project issues
Monitoring and reporting progress throughout the lifecycle of the project
Providing proactive project communications to project stakeholders
Ensuring system implementation is conducted with minimal impacts to end-users and all required support activities have been accomplished prior to turning over to production
Providing support for career planning and personal growth of team members
Five years experience as a IT project manager preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate expertise in creating Work Break Down Structures, Risk Management techniques, Cost Estimating and other concepts associated with project management methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in a business or IT discipline, which could include Computer Science or Business Management
