Project Manager

One of the key areas of focus for this Company is the development and rollout of the global standard for payment processing. FT consolidates the various disparate high-value processing platforms into a single global standard. This is a highly visible and mission critical platform.
It currently clears over $2 Trillion dollars worth of payments per day. Specifics requirements for the position include: Develop an in depth understanding of the cash / banking transfer businesses globally Expand on current knowledge of our client's Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for a large scale, complex programs as well as overall management skills Develop an intimate working knowledge of vendor management and offshore development Develop international management experience in working with and matrix managing resources in multiple countries
Develop a strong understanding of the components of a transaction processing system and its architecture and technical environment Provide technology leadership to the business and operations teams Manage an overall technology department including multiple projects form initiation to post implementation Manage various international teams to ensure coordinated deliveries Interface with clients to ensure their requirements and expectations are being met in a timely manner Provide senior management updates on all aspects of the technology behind our client's funds transfer business The ideal candidate will have the following minimum characteristics: Senior management experience in financial services information technology with Banking productsA multi-discipline skill set encompassing vendor management, staff management, application development management with large-scale real-time systems a plus. The ability to communicate effectively, influence and interact with all levels of management. The candidate must have demonstrated people leadership and management skills
