(1) Lead mechanical engineering and plumbing design efforts on projects as mechanical Designer of Record (DOR).
(2) Personnel Management: provide mentoring, technical development, and general oversight of assigned staff.
(3) Project Management: plan workload, track and meet budgets, communicate with clients.

Seasoned professional with 10+ years experience leading mechanical and plumbing design efforts for buildings on multi-disciplinary teams. Experienced client manager and project manager for multi-disciplinary building projects.
The ideal candidate will have past project design and management experience in both private sector and federal (e.g., DoD, VA, GSA) markets. Past projects would include a variety of building occupancy types, including both new construction and additions/renovations.
In addition to HVAC air-side, water-side, and plumbing systems design experience, the successful candidate shall be intimately familiar with load calculations, mechanical equipment selections, and other specialized systems for buildings.
REQUIRED: (1) code expert in prevailing industry standards (e.g. IBC, IMC, IPC, ASHRAE, etc.); (2) LEED knowledge; (3) AutoDesk AutoCAD
DESIRED: (1) production capabilities in AutoDesk Revit

B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to obtain PE reciprocity to additional states
Assist in hiring additional production staff to support the growth of the Practice.
