Manage and drive an array of sales and business development initiatives as part of Lockton's operations group at headquarters in Kansas City:
Support Producer-led initiatives to grow Lockton, including conducting research and business analysis
Create, frame, write, and drive projects that include packaging Lockton's expertise in key market segments
Develop, frame, and drive communications programs that support our risk and insurance practices
Coordinate content and logistics for our multifaceted sales development initiative, Lockton's Producer Leadership Program
Create, write, edit, package, and produce sales support materials
Edit, package, promote, and distribute expert commentaries on risk management and insurance topics to audiences including clients, prospects, news media, and the general public
Manage, edit, promote, and package the Lockton Market Update. www.locktonmarketupdate.com
Support Operations group by analyzing and responding to critical business issues
Participate with other members of the global communications team on branding and communications issues
Manage other operations projects as needed
Position reports to Lockton's Director of Communications in Kansas City. Position will also work closely with senior executives, Associates, and Producers across the organization
The role will be based in Lockton's Kansas City office and will require occasional travel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism or communications
Minimum of seven years of experience in business environment with a minimum of five years of business operations project management or strategic communications
Strong Problem Solving - the soft skill of identifying the issues, developing solutions, selecting a path and implementing
Excellent business development, sales support, writing, project management, and marketing skills
Experience in training and development is a plus
Strong presentation skills and ability to provide presentation coaching
Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence
Adaptable, self-motivated, flexible team player
MBA is a significant plus

Advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word and Web tools
Ability and willingness to travel
