BB22143 BR Pasadena, CA 91124 BR 1 Year BR BR Project Manager BR BR Self-starter who manages, organizes, analyzes & controls the activities of a technical project team responsible for systems development & implementation. Consults w/clients regarding current & future business requirements & coordinates activities w/data processing units. BR BR Essential Functions: BR Manages a project team which is responsible for all phases of the system development & implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing & ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environment, host based, distributed systems, Client Server, software, hardware, technology, tools, etc BR Consults w/clients in the analysis of short & long range business requirements & recommends innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements BR Coordinates activities w/other data processing unit heads, data base, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc BR Organizes, analyses, & controls the activities of the project team consisting of system architects, developers and testers BR Assigns personnel to the various projects & directs their activities BR Reviews & evaluates the work of the staff & prepares periodic performance reports BR Prepares activity & progress reports for the team BR Leads cross functional team projects & provides IT consulting services BR Coordinates & ensures delivery of services & support from client for NFS applications & initiatives BR Responsible for detailed planning for development schedule, budget, staffing & approach BR Tracks & reports development status (schedule, budget, milestones, metrics, key events, risks & issues) to appropriate director BR Establishes development standards & processes BR Ensures that all personnel are trained on processes & standards BR BR Qualifications BR 12+ years of relevant experience. BR Has led technical projects from idea to implementation of new systems BR Demonstrates identified competencies. BR Can lead large project or multiple technical projects BR Works successfully with executive leadership (technical and business) BR Demonstrates success with increasingly complex projects. BR Seen as credible. BR Has personal influence and clear communication BR Demonstrates ability to learn new skills. BR Must be able to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment. BR Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.
