JOB DESCRIPTION

* Manage the Company's implementation of the revised revenue recognition guidance (ASC606):

* Manage local business unit teams and establish ongoing communication to ensure alignment with Corporate.
* Support local management in developing a comprehensive inventory of all contracts across all business units.
* Lead the selection process and the detailed review of contracts across the business units. Ensure that applicable metrics are well-defined and consistently applied.
* Team with local management to ensure that the technical aspects of the contracts are understood and properly applied.
* Support the Corporate team in developing technical position papers and workflows, and drafting revised accounting procedures and policies that incorporate revised guidance.
* Develop practical expedients that will facilitate implementation
* Develop and lead Company-wide training programs to educate local management and address implementation concerns.
* Support local management in developing systems applications that support the data requirements.
* Support local management in developing refined cost standards that will support cost estimates driving the required percentage of completion calculations.
* Responsible for driving required changes in internal controls over the reporting of revenue, as required based on the application of the revised guidance.

* Manage the Company's implementation of the revised lease accounting guidance:

* Manage local teams and establish ongoing communication to ensure alignment with Corporate.
* Support local management in developing a comprehensive inventory of all contracts across all business units.
* Lead the detailed review of leases and the application of applicable metrics.
* Support the business units in developing systems applications that support the data requirements

* Assist with the management of other corporate projects that may include: acquisition analysis - assist operations and/or corporate finance in due diligence process; working with operational personnel providing needed assistance in such areas as process improvement programs, working capital management, performance measurements, analysis of proposed capital investments, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of five years of experience in accounting, within a public accounting firm (including audit or related financial experience, 'Big 4' or 'Tier 2' preferred) or a combination of public and private accounting experience. Emphasis in manufacturing is desired.
* Highest level of integrity; demonstrable history of quality decision making and solid business partnering.
* Superior project management skills
* Excellent working knowledge of US GAAP in a strong controls environment.
* Emotionally intelligent leader who challenges the status quo and acts with a sense of urgency to drive results.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and develop people as well as drive process improvements.
* Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage personnel at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work independently; data driven analytical approach to problem solving leading to systemic improvements and lasting results.
* Up to 40% travel will be required (domestically and internationally).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
