We have a career opportunity for a Project Manager out of our San Diego regional Hub.
We are seeking candidates with 5-10 years of successful experience in design-build and/or general contracting construction management. Ideal candidates will possess at least 2 years of preconstruction/estimating experience. Industrial/Warehouse experience is required. Position assumes responsibility for administration of assigned projects through all phases including preconstruction, construction and closeout.
Specific duties include: participate in construction progress meetings and design development; possess working understanding of budgets, schedules, RFI s, submittals/shop drawing review, invoices, quantity takeoffs, and other management tools. Successful candidates must possess strong teamwork abilities and will assume responsibility for communicating effectively and efficiently with supervising managers, superintendents, general contractors, subcontractors, governing authorities and owners.
Bachelor s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or equivalent experience, at least 5 years proven success in the commercial construction industry. A proven ability to manage mid-size projects is required. Candidates must able and willing to travel.
