Unistrut Construction, a part of Atkore International, is a Chicago based specialty steel contractor with approximately 250 employees and branches in major cities across the US and in Canada. Specializing in Healthcare, High-Tech and Datacom new construction and renovation work, we are licensed nationwide with expertise in Design, Engineering, and Installation services. We are currently searching for a Project Manager located in Tampa, FL. Position Overview Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading multiple complex projects and ensuring successful life cycle project management. Key Responsibilities -Interaction with outside vendors, installation crews, engineers/architects, sales, clients, etc. -Makes presentations/establishes meetings with management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results when necessary. -Ensures projects are completed on time/in scope, as well as ensure all projects meet or exceed initial contract estimates and company expectations for margins and EBIT. -Oversee and ensure effective vendor relationships for ordering project materials (at or under budget), for consistent quality and reliability (meeting onsite schedules) -Ensure the alignment of team priorities, drafters thru install crews, with broader organizational initiatives and objectives. -Ensure the adherence to Atkore Safety policies by all relevant project team members. -Oversee and monitor internal project cost(s) weekly/monthly. -Ensure timely and accurate final invoicing and closure of the projects -Working close with all team members, reassuring positive and profitable results through close of project.



Requirements



Qualifications -Construction related Associates (or higher) or Technical Degree/Certificates in related field -Minimum 1 year experience in life cycle project management required. -Capable of reading blue prints/construction documents and details. -Managing multiple crews/projects -Organization/prioritizing skills a must; excellent multi-tasker -Great communications skills, dealing with customers/clients, subcontractors, install crews, sales, etc. -Computer savy (excel, microsoft office, AS400/CGC, Salesforce) -Minimum 1 year experience in life cycle project management required.
