a Project Manager for a long-term contract assignment with one of our premier
financial industry clients in New York, NY. Responsibilities:Direct
and manage the projects from inception through implementationDevelop best
practice, techniques for project planning, management, ongoing milestone/deliverable
tracking, communication and performance metricsDefine the scope, goals
and deliverables of the project to align to overall business goalsEffectively
engage project team and Senior Management, where appropriateDefine project
success criteria and report status throughout project lifecycleEffectively
communicate and manage project expectations to program managers, sponsors,
team members and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashionDevelop
and present deliverables (business requirements, design, etc.) to project
team, business partners and Senior ManagementLiaise extensively with business
users and technology partnersUnderstand the business processes in order
to improve the current processIdentify opportunities for potential solutions
and assess them for both technical and business suitability and create
logical and innovative solutions to complex problemsContribute to proposals
for modified or replacement systemsAdhere to project lifecycle deliverable
