JOB DESCRIPTION- Augment existing EHS Remediation engineering staff in performing project manger duties including overseeing engineering and design work on projects relating to remediation which may include former MGP sites, historic spills, underground storage tanks and/ or fuel oil pipeline closures. - Engineer is responsible for serving as the EH&S Project Manager for remedial projects from site identification and conceptual development through implementation, including regulatory negotiation. - Oversees environmental remedial investigations and cleanups, including work plan development, field implementation, oversight and evaluation, report preparation/review and agency negotiation. - Provides guidance in remedial policy development, regulatory interpretation and agency communication. - Acts as liaison with other Company departments, contractors and government agencies to assure an informed and coordinated approach in achieving corporate environment, health and safety objectives. - The Engineer will ensure that the long term goal of the Remediation project is successfully implemented and that the project is completed within the budget. - He/she prepares financial requests and project-scoping documents and ensures that they are in accordance with corporate processes and procedures as well as documented in the Remediation online folder. - The individual will participate in engineering design review meetings and manage outside vendor design efforts. - Resolve field problems during remediat

by others.- ENGINEER (2L): Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant environmental
experience with at least five (5) years of experience overseeing environmental
remedial investigations and/or remediation.- SR. ENGINEER (2H): Requires
ten (10) years experience and of relevant environmental experience with
at least five (5) years of experience as project manager overseeing environmental
remedial investigations and/or remediation. - Computer (Microsoft Project
Scheduler) skills required.- Project management experience preferred.-
Must hold a valid driver's license.- Travel within service territory required.-
