We are seeking a Proposal Manager / Technical Writer with excellent, current flight, vessel and ground based simulators operation and maintenance proposal writing background to join our company to support existing, and future contracts. We are expanding to tackle new business opportunities. Position will work out of the corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD.
Must have strong, current related DoD Experience former/retired military preferred
Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related technical field and at least five (5) years of recent experience successfully writing winning proposals related to the defense simulation and training industry.
Strong, current knowledge of federal government contracting procedures as required developing winning proposals.
Excellent writing skills and demonstrated knowledge of writing proposals for at least two of the following areas is required: flight and ground based simulators, contractor operations and maintenance of simulators; contractor logistics support for simulators; broadcast engineering and audio visuals support contracts; training engineering support contracts.
These positions will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, win themes, and developing proposals for various technical contracts.
Experience in developing staffing requirements and addressing technical requirements is preferred.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to translate information provided by subject matter experts into proposal.
Strong, current proficiency with complete Microsoft Office Suite (including Project and Visio)
Must be able to manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to innovate
Willing to take on other duties as required and to work long hours including evenings and weekends to support proposal efforts as needed.
Must be able to travel as required
