Job Summary:



Under general direction, provides Capital Markets Investment Sales team with marketing-writing/research related services. Supports and assists top Investment Sales team with writing & research role in marketing deliverables, drafting original content and identifying appropriate text, concepts and salient points that add value. Support role tasks include the research, production and coordination of offering materials.



The Proposal Writer will support a top Investment Sales team with writing & research. The role includes taking a leadership position in writing comprehensive Offering Memorandums and Proposals for institutional-quality real estate. As an integral member of a dynamic high-performing team you will have the opportunity to work within a global organization on iconic, high profile international deals. Must be proactive and an independent thinker that prefers a fast-paced challenging environment.



Duties & Responsibilities



* Performs the lead writing role in marketing deliverables, drafting original content and identifying appropriate text, concepts and salient points that add value

* Works with team to strategize primary messages for well-conceived, appropriate and clear communication in all marketing deliverables

* Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the real estate business that adds value and strategically enhances marketing deliverables

* Communicates effectively with the team during the life cycle of an assignment so that he/she understands the project timeline and requirements

* Controls all content in marketing deliverables from project inception to project delivery

* Follows all business development processes and marketing standards as set forth by the team

* Collect, maintain and review relevant articles from all real estate sources for market knowledge

* Stays current with knowledge and understanding of various clientele markets

* Development of creative presentations for business development

* Prepare RFPs

* Large focus of writing on Offering Memoranda



Requirements



* Bachelor's degree coupled with 5+ years of business writing and analytical experience

* Real estate experience preferred (license not required)

* Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently

* Strong attention to detail with pride in the quality of personal and team work

* Passionate about writing, content development & copyediting

* Self-starter with the ability to simultaneously carry out multiple projects

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent problem solving skills and ownership of deliverables

* Ability to effectively execute assignments, meeting stringent deadlines

* Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* WRITING SAMPLE REQUIRED
