The Proteomics Scientist I in the Proteomics Core identifies biomedical research projects in progress or planned at St. Jude that may be facilitated or extended by involvement of state-of-the-art mass spectrometric or proteomic techniques & procedures. In collaboration with investigators, develops & executes experimental designs or strategies involving mass spectrometry or proteomics. Deploys or develops new experimental procedures as needed within the context of collaborative projects. Interprets experimental data. Contributes to the writing of manuscripts describing collaborative work & to the production of grant applications. Provides expertise & assistance to members of Proteomics Section in the deployment of analytical procedures.
