JOB DESCRIPTIONFull/Part Time/PRN: Full-Time
The UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Psychiatry in the Division of Ethics seeks an outstanding psychiatrist interested in research, education, and clinical care at the rank of Professor. This position is multifaceted, with a primary focus on research in the areas of ethics and medicine, international clinical trial ethics, research integrity and governance to be funded by external federal, foundation, industry and philanthropic funding.
The position will also include approximately 20% teaching activities in the MD/MPH program within the School of Public Health, and Clinical and Translational Science Awards program as well as an administrative role in the Ethics Division and as a participant on the Institutional Ethics Committee of Clements University Hospital and Parkland Health and Hospital System.
Requirements for this position include experience teaching ethics in an academic medical setting as well as experience in ethics research. Candidates must be BC/BE in General Psychiatry and have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical license.
