Job Summary:Operates an employee Shuttle Service bus to and from off-campus parking areas. Provide observation of hospital controlled parking areas. Completes computer data entry activities for Security Department s motor vehicle registration database. Actively employs preventative measures to protect Hospital staff from violations of their person and property by reporting all suspicious persons and/or activities observed. Safeguards Hospital property from fire, theft and vandalism. Participates in staff training. Always alert to circumstances that threaten general public safety. Maintains confidentially of all hospital information at all times. Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Experience: Experience working with diverse populations in a customer service oriented environment. Experience operating public service buses preferred. Computer data entry skills helpful. License and Certification: Applicant must possess a valid CT driver s license with Passenger Endorsement and have an excellent driving record. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. No criminal convictions. Per Diem as needed basis Evenings
