Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) remains the nation s largest non-profit dialysis provider. With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care. Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

**This position will require some travel to cover 5 area clinics.**

**Summary:** This position is responsible for all purchasing, inventory control, project management and budget for assigned clinics.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Purchase supplies for all clinics in assigned area

+ Oversee inventory control

+ Oversee all project management initiatives

+ Responsible for vendor selection and fixed asset budgets


**Education and/or Experience** :

+ Must be a high school graduate

+ Minimum of three years experience in a purchasing/inventory control position.

+ Must have general working knowledge and understanding of database, spreadsheet and/or purchasing software.

+ Operate office machinery and equipment such as typewriters and/or computers, calculators, copiers, postage machine, fax machine and telephone; familiar with and proficient with database, spreadsheet and purchasing software.

+ Interest and motivation to become a participating member of the Administrative team and to produce work that is of satisfactory quality and quantity.

+ Responsible and accountable for own actions.

+ Able to use problem solving approach.

+ Able to function with a minimum of supervision and in a responsible manner.

+ Portrays a state of professionalism.

+ Demonstrates effective communication skills and an attitude of teamwork **.**

+ Accountable for how his/her time is spent daily.

+ Always follows the proper chain of command.

+ Projects a positive attitude and acts in a positive and tactful manner.

**Physical Demands** :

+ Frequently required to talk and hear; stand and sit; use hands-to-finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

+ Occasionally required to climb or balance.

+ Occasionally, the employee must lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

**Work Environment** :

While performing the duties of this job, one frequently works in proximity to moving mechanical parts. Since this is a healthcare environment, there is the possibility of exposure to infectious/contagious diseases, hazardous chemicals and materials, and blood and body fluids. Further information regarding this position s specific work environment and exposure category will be provided during orientation. _This position is classified as CATEGORY II._
